Fellow high school student here who will probably be That Customer who comes in to the coffee shop where he works and talk to him all the time to try to befriend him, if you're cool with that?

Absolutely! Minato might look unfriendly at first since he just asks her what she wants, but after a while it'll be obvious to her he's just really awkward at making friends and he'll start asking her things when it becomes clear to him she actually wants to be friends.
