AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. That was what was missing in TOZ, honestly. All the party were either 17 or way, way, wayyyyyyyyyyyyy older... we never really got the kind of mixed dynamic you get in Abyss.

But I think that's one of the things I really like about the tales series. It's full of familiar character archetypes that are repeated over and over, but the dynamic between them is shuffled differently every time. So each game feels both familiar and different.
