yes, this not-ice skater choreographer-by-day spy-by-night honestly doesn't get to spend nearly enough time with the most beautiful poodle in the world. his life is complicated, and sometimes you just want to relax after (before???) work and have a drink or two while being around other people and also spending time with makkachin, you know?

so yes, he won't be there all the time (and he won't ALWAYS bring his dog with him), but he's surely not an unfamiliar face to luke either. hello!

Everyone should take the time to relax with a beautiful poodle tbh. But I'm totally cool with that! He would most likely recognize Viktor as "the guy with the dog" for a while even if Viktor was there without Makkachin but he'd slot him as a semi-frequent visitor and he'd be inclined to chat him up and get to know him. Luke as a whole is pretty personable so as long as Viktor doesn't mind a somewhat chatty bartender when he comes to relax I think this is a pretty good set-up!

The guy with the dog won't mind a chatty bartender at all, I bet he sees conversation as part of the drinking-at-a-bar experience, and getting to know people is relevant to both of his careers anyway, so
