Hello fellow teacher of students! I would love for the two to know each other when they were much younger. There's only a four year age gap between them so-!

Maybe she went out of her way to be friends with him when others kept their distance? And stuck by his side like glue if someone tried to ostracise him because she's not there for that at all. Could have been a closeish friend in high school but only after the deaths of his two best friends did she make more of an effort to bond with him and help him through that period of time. Just a few ideas, of course!! If you have any other ideas I would love to hear them because yes to more people of her age bracket/profession please.

I can work with that. He generally tended to run with the Marauders but that didn't preclude him from having other friends and people he got along with! Even with the age gap.

Great to hear! Maybe they became closer/knew each other later on in life but them being good enough friends during school years is perfect for me.

It'll let them be close enough that she'll feel enough confidence to drop by his office/classroom after classes to show him a book she thinks he'd like! If that's alright with you, of course.

Finding someone he used to know who didn't shun him would be a perfectly good reason for him to catch up with her again. He's still, perhaps not to his credit, eager for friendship and acceptance.

She would do her best to show her support for him and know he has someone by his side. If he ever needed anything from her, he's more than free to ask Ainsley for it since she'll most likely say yes.

The TDM is up now and I'll keep my eye out for your top-level if you plan to put one up soon! I'm very excited for this CR.
