As long as she's not there to arrest him he'd just be like "yeah okay /shrugs" and idly talk to her about anybody he's seen and let her stake out the area. He's nosy like that, and honestly he'd find her line of work kind of interesting!

he eventually has to cut her off just like "I think you've had enough???" but then he just grins and continues to indulge her because it's funny, I'm so sorry about him.

I'm also okay with them vaguely knowing one another! despite the game-start being that nobody's left the city for a while luke's definitely traveled outside of recollé growing up so they could have met at events or galas or something of the sort. Also I like the idea of them as they start getting memories back comparing notes since he's canonically the best swordsman his summer camp's seen in 300 years and he's a demigod. there's a lot of fun potential here that I'd love to dig into!

it's okay luke... despite making a name for herself as something of a hardass she is actually a mushy bleeding heart so she would actually be very happy for his new leaf here.... GOOD FOR YOU ;;

also never be sorry she can be a bit of a stick in the mud so the more fun people around her the better!!

also i can't believe i missed this most obvious thing THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY COMPARE NOTES AS PERSONS OF DEITY... can they swordfight together... but also yes i imagine maybe they heard of each other in passing in those old social circles, if not actually met a few times here and there

BUT UH. YES? Yes of course that would actually be really neat and honestly they've probably been vague acquaintances and are ready to move up to friend-levels based on the above so let's go with that. I'm all for rolling with it
