I'm not sure how Ainsley and Johan will meet but I'm interested in CR between the two of them!

The best thing that comes to mind are their interests. Maybe she attends his literature/philosophy group after she learned about it when it was first starting? Went to the early meetings and while it isn't her cup of tea it intrigued her all the same for some reason. So she keeps coming back to discuss the subjects with them and naturally finds Johan very charming and friendly.

She's probably/definitely one of the people who defends him if she hears about the rumours. That's very rude and serious thing to accuse someone of after all.

i think that would be really cool actually, to have someone at the discussion group who didn't really agree with most people! johan would definitely be very courteous to her and make sure she had the floor even if other people (and he himself) mostly didn't agree with her, because fostering open discussion etc etc etc.

That's lovely to hear! She would have been nervous at first when making her opinions known but been relieved and happy to see it was taken well by most people. Definitely would have a good impression of him from that alone and attended his meetings semi-regularly to discuss things with others/get to know the others in the group better.
