AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Additionally, you can find our game-wide App This Please over here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Reserves open on January 17th at 9pm EST! Please note; due to player polls, players may now apply for characters without a reservation. Applications open on January 25th at 12am EST. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! As a note, we will update the application page with a space for current players to link their full AC for our review should a player wish to apply without a reserve. • Most importantly, as a friendly note: Recollé will be going into its endgame this year. Estimated endgame is no earlier than July/August of 2019. FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR. |

James, too, is someone who looks like he could kill a man but melts in front of animals. Except for him it's with dogs, not cats. He doesn't know how to handle cats and is extremely awkward around them. Which means I absolutely want him to be put into more cat situations.
He also probably goes to bars every now and then because the only good thing about suddenly being old is being able to legally drink lol, so they could run into each other sometime at one there! Maybe they like. Start talking over drinks and Shigeru pulls out a wallet full of photos of his cats.

I am also absolutely here for them bonding over drinks and I'm laughing so hard at this, of course he has many pictures of his cats........ Do you want to go with them knowing each other (or knowing of each other) previously or just jump in with a scenario like this in-game? (Assuming I get in, of course!)

HMMM i think them knowing each other, even if just barely, could be fun! because beforehand, James would be trying hard to play the "i am definitely a grown adult who belongs in a bar" role, and then after finding out Shigure is on the app he'd be able to just admit he's actually just some teenager who just looks old enough to be his own dad. And if there's one thing I don't get enough of, it's CR that starts out with people knowing James as an adult and finding out he's really a teen, rather than vice versa haha
