AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Additionally, you can find our game-wide App This Please over here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Reserves open on January 17th at 9pm EST! Please note; due to player polls, players may now apply for characters without a reservation. Applications open on January 25th at 12am EST. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! As a note, we will update the application page with a space for current players to link their full AC for our review should a player wish to apply without a reserve. • Most importantly, as a friendly note: Recollé will be going into its endgame this year. Estimated endgame is no earlier than July/August of 2019. FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR. |

They could also be related... though Tatsuo wouldn't realize b/c he has no idea if his mom had any family. It'd have to be a little distant, since his mom ran to Recolle when she accidentally got pregnant rather than turn to any family. Maybe Shigure could accidentally see a photo of Tatsuo's mom and have a 'oh shit she looks like my mom/aunt' moment and turns out his mom had a cousin who was kind of frowned upon and then disappeared.
He's also the reason Mariko isn't hanging out at the clubs anymore... /coughno subject
I am absolutely also here for them being distantly related and something they only find out by complete accident! Shigure's still in contact with his parents, so we could even have them work that out as a legitimate thing instead of just "wow she looks really similar"!

\o/ Tatsuo was pretty ambivalent about having a pet (old landlady had an aggressive chihuahua, Derek's cat hates everyone except Derek) until he happened to meet Yujirou during a charity photoshoot. now Yujirou has him wrapped around his fluffy paw.
It'll be a fun thing to discover. Tatsuo has tried finding out more information about his mom in the past, but kept running into dead ends.
His best friend also dated Mariko, so Shigure is in good company!no subject
Haha oh no... If you ever want Tatsuo to work out more about his mom, we can always say Shigure's mom told him some things (or tells him after they've worked this out), but if you'd prefer to keep it vague we can definitely work with that! This is definitely an interesting angle, I look forward to seeing how it goes!
