AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Additionally, you can find our game-wide App This Please over here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Reserves open on January 17th at 9pm EST! Please note; due to player polls, players may now apply for characters without a reservation. Applications open on January 25th at 12am EST. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! As a note, we will update the application page with a space for current players to link their full AC for our review should a player wish to apply without a reserve. • Most importantly, as a friendly note: Recollé will be going into its endgame this year. Estimated endgame is no earlier than July/August of 2019. FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like. OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! CANON: Fire Emblem: Fates (Revelation)
AU NAME: Alexander (last name to be determined)
AU AGE: 27
AU OCCUPATION: CEO of Noir
BLURB:
★ Born to extremely wealthy parents in Recollé, he spent his childhood being mildly terrified of his dad and more or less doing exactly what he was told.
★ This eventually led to a conflict because he wanted to pursue his interests in art (specifically painting), but his father was insistent that Alexander take over the company.
★ Eventually he did agree, mostly because his father got sick and Alexander felt there really weren't any other options. If he took the job, none of his younger siblings would have to, so he figured it'd be for the best.
★ Speaking of younger siblings, he has quite a few! They're all half-siblings, and they all live their own lives, but he loves them all dearly and does his best to look out for them.
★ His father is still very much alive, and while he's not running the company anymore, it's pretty obvious that he's still telling Alexander what to do. He's also still sick, so Alexander spends his time looking after his father as well. Which he also isn't very fond of!
★ But it's fine, as long as his siblings are free to pursue their own passions and do what they'd like it's totally fine...
★ (He may be a little bit bitter about all of this but shhh.)
★ Despite being CEO of a profitable company, he's very down-to-earth and he's very approachable! He enjoys getting to know people and helping others.
★ Oh, he's also kind of bad with technology and is still learning about social media. Please go easy on him, it's Difficult....
★ He's more or less put his interest in art aside, but he is still here to support other artists!!
★ Family > everything, however. Despite the problems he has with his dad, he still loves all of his family dearly and will do whatever he can for them.
★ As for what the company Noir does... I'm leaning toward them being involved in making parts of mobile phones or something, Alexander wouldn't be involved in the technical aspects anyway and does he look like he knows how a mobile phone works?? But I'm very open to ideas here!
LOOKING FOR:
Fellow rich people (who optionally do not know what they're doing), former classmates or peers, employees of Noir, artists (either people he's commissioned or people who have put on public showings, etc), honestly just about anything works? He's friendlier than he is in canon, so finding a way for him to have a previous connection with someone shouldn't be too difficult, let me know if you're interested!
Half-siblings are also an option! I don't have a set idea of how many Alexander has, but he's the oldest. His relationship with his siblings in canon is a bit complicated but ultimately not too terrible (in Revelation, at least). Cousins or other family relations are also totally fine!

Crow here's still in college prepping to be an EMT but he does odd jobs and temp work on the side so maybe he might've had a brief summer doing some entry level work for Noir! He's probably at least heard of the company.
Watch as he completely doesn't realize he's hitting it up with a giant corporation's CEO without even knowing, dragging him to listen to his friends violin music and to laser tag because whooo boy you sure need some stress relief Alexander :C

And that definitely works! If you want to roll with a summer stay that's cool, or just hearing about Noir is fine as well!!
AND YEAH, Alexander doesn't exactly go around announcing that anyway so it's fine..... this is so cute, please make sure this man has a life, he kind of needs one...

But anyway, yes!! It's possible they've known of each other for a little while even if they aren't very well acquainted, they're both from Recolle, after all! And since they're both rich, yeah they probably have met a few times haha!
