Nah it's chill! I'm a little late in return, alas...Depending on when you'd want them to have been/become friends Thalia's attitude would be a bit different - she's very very protective of her friends so messing with them Annoys her, and the longer she's known you the more at risk you are to this

I've read your top-level, so I could figure out a good timeline for them to be friends in. Although they are both studying different majors, I could see them coming into contact in college, and maybe becoming better friends at the bar she hangs out. Akane may not look the type, but she'd visit a bar to search for info on the city. But I can also imagine, if she saw Thalia there, she'd next to her like no problem. Akane isn't overly shy.

I don't know if you are up to it, but I am okay with them having met through Thalia unintentionally defending her from a creep because they accidentally did something to piss her off and Akane took it as her helping her out instead. I don't mind having her be an overprotective friend at all. Akane would appreciate it, even if she would panic a bit whenever her temper would go high.
