Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

terezi why would you do that to yourself? he also technically runs a youtube channel with jade which is just. blowing things up in the yard with science. they're bad? don't watch them. dave does soundtracks and special effects and jade rambles about science?

that said most of his Favorite People follow those things (his siblings. his siblings are his favorite people) so she's in good company

She's not as interested in the scienceplosions! They're great and all, but there's such richness to mine from his ramblings and his terrible, terrible comic. She has sent him fanart. She's not sorry, but I am.

he'll keep it forever probably and show dirk? but never say so BUT OTHERWISE i'm sure they've seen one another around school at least to the extent of "wow you sure exist"

Yeah, totally. I think she'd know what he looks like from his YouTube channel, but has only ever genuinely interacted with him online, and not too much at that. She probably sent him a couple creepy troll messages once, like she used to in early canon, but lost interest because it was creeping HER out and Dave never did anything to her.

what is the point of hanging out online if you don't get the occasional creepy troll message, honestly, you'd be missing like half of the experience of the internet? dirk might not agree but this is dave's philosophy

IT'S FINE, PROBABLY, dirk keeps tabs on all three of his siblings online which is hardest with dave and roxy who need to be online less but details. sucks 2 be the oldest sib
