Ooh I like that idea a lot!! Yes that will work out wonderfully! ♥ MAYBE LIKE Chiyo could have been one of the first people he got close with after moving to Recolle? Them being neighbors is so cute.

Omg YES THAT'S BRILLIANT?? I'm laughing at the mental image of her holding up the flowers as she's talking to him And he's going to be like "You know Chiyo. If you want to move up from a yellow rose of friendship to the red rose of love, you got tell him face to face!" and literally holds up the roses too

(oh no i'm so sorry you had to work with someone like maeno. that's an awful experience.)

Yes! I am here for them having a close friendship as well as being neighbors.

They're absolutely ridiculous. I love them. She'll fluster and be like what about you, Mikoto?? WHAT'S HIS LOVE LIFE LIKE...

The strangest thing about this is that she'll be calling him Mikoto and not Mikorin until she regains a memory... and then it'll be Mikorin all the time.

(THANK YOU FRIEND at least the one thing I can take out of it... it provides for some amusing stories??)

THEY ARE I'm so happy they are reunited and can be ridiculous together again in this AU. WELL... he's (dumb) not sure, yet! He gets super embarrassed and blushy around a certain girl and he might possibly be interested? It hasn't dawned on him or anything but if it does happen... I can see him crying to Chiyo for help sahigohag

Oh man, I can't wait for her to regain that memory back. It's been so hard typing out 'Mikoto' in my tags. I hope she regains it first so he'll be like "Uhhh what?????" but he'll regain his wonderful nickname soon. :')

BUT HAHA the person that he gets super blushy around is Yuuko. She's totally free to pick up on that. He might be too embarrassed to admit it to her and plus he's a bit clueless himself (since he's an idiot pfft_ BLESS YOU CHIYO and he's here for her if she needs love help!!

chiyo will notice his blushing, but she'll try to be sensitive about asking him about it? by which i mean, the more obvious he gets, she'll just burst with her curiosity.

a question for you: since chiyo now has an au brother in rin matsuoka, it's been worked out that they would live near the beach. i don't know if that makes it feasible for chiyo and mikoto to still be neighbors because idk if that would work with mikoto's history? if it doesn't work, i would still like to find a way for them to become close friends outside of being neighbors, if possible? i'm really sorry if this makes things more complicated!

This is so cute and I'm so excited for Chiyo to burst with curiosity!! sahgioh he's going to be so embarrassed at first but Chiyo talking to him will help him realize since... he's a clueless idiot (not much better than Nozaki tbh)

Chiyo and Rin being siblings is really cute btw, I'm dying from the adorable. BUT ACTUALLY, if you still want them to be neighbors, I can totally work out Mikoto living near the beach since I never specified where he and his parents live in Recolle. So if it's cool with Rin's mun maybe they could have all known each other? No, you aren't making this complicated at all! In fact, thank you bc I never really thought about where Mikorin would live before he moved to his apartement so this helps a lot!!

mikoto can actually recognize when a girl is confessing to him, though? that is way better than nozaki, and chiyo will tell him so whenever she gets those memories back LMAO but yeah chiyo will be like do you like her? are you going to confess? mikoriiiin!!!! [insert excited squealing]

yes, i would absolutely love for them to have been neighbors still, and rin's player also said it'd be cool if they knew each other! cries i was really worried ahhh so thank you, hana!! you're the sweetest.
