Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.

Unfortunately I don't think that'd work out. Gabe's almost 60 himself, so that's a bit of a stretch.

Ah shit, I didn't realise. Still. He could be the older brother she never had. I'm keen on the idea that Sombra always flirted with illegal shit (gangs drugs some light hacking etc), as opposed to being knee deep in it like she is in canon. I've found the app on your journal and would this be something that Reyes was possibly involved in while was still active?

Alternatively, depending on how your timings worked out he could have been Sombra's home ec teacher and always had an eye out for her.

He did spend most of his time overseas, so if Sombra was active there then it's possible. If I'm completely honest though, I was hoping to have Sombra be one of his kids, but I'm obviously not about to ask for that when you've got your own AU fleshed out so well. If you're fine with their meeting in game being their first meeting, then I'm cool with it as well.

Hmm... after having a think about it, I'm of the idea that Sombra's parents were there but distant and I'm not sure how that ties in to what you've got with Reaps here. I mean I'm cool with working shit out because I'd like Sombra to know him and I believe that he is some sort of tangible influence on her.

Gabriel was active in his family's life as much as he could be, but he was, naturally, overseas more often than not and likely missed out on a lot of his kid(s)' lives as a result. McCree's actually his son in this AU and not having his dad be there is part of the reason he fell into such a bad crowd. I can't speak for his wife/the mother in the family though being I'm leaving that spot open in case someone wants to app in.
