Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

Aaaat least over a year? THE AGE I PICKED IS WEIRD because I think logically he should be in his third year of college but at that point you kind of need to have picked a major so he is floundering really hard if that's still the case here

I feel like he wouldn't have taken a gap year, though. He'd just spend all his time at home eating himself alive for being a waste of space.

THAT SAID I can... totally see him floundering about that badly at this point. Touya's welcome to help him try to sort through options, but unfortunately, the roadblock is Rean himself. :')

Gosh, Rean. Man, Touya may seem gruff but he'll probably be very patient and helpful. And hey, Rean. It's okay. Just pick one thing and learn how to teach it and you can spend your time picking at other things...

Nah, I've always had him as reasonably healthy, too. ...Physically. Mental health is still Supremely Questionable, but we work with it.

That... might just make Rean feel worse, honestly. That said, I'm totally on board with that – I want there to be some genuine struggle with him on this. As with canon, Reancolle here laughs off the clearly Worrying things as not being nearly as bad as they are. His reality is that he knows he's quickly reaching the end of his rope on this and that he's burdening his parents by wasting their money on an education he's getting nothing out of, but if you actually ask him about it, he's just "🙃 haha what? I'm fine! Everything's fine!"

Also, right now my very tentative plans are to drive him toward becoming a history teacher (because ah that beautiful future canon reflection), so "pick one thing and learn to teach it" is not far off, maybe!

Crow, listen. He kind of, sort of understands, because Emma is a lovely young woman and they do have their past lives to connect them and all, but... it's just not like that. It's just not.

Emma, he's very sorry about this and he'd be happy to buy you a coffee and walk you home.

Life was easier back when the only goal he had to strive for was "graduate and get into a decent school." No one told him what he was supposed to do after that! Making his own decisions is terrifying? Every time he thinks about picking something and sticking with it it makes him anxious, which makes him more depressed, which just makes him not care about any of the things and
