Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.

SO MAYBE THIS VIOLET (who is also an orphan) WAS ALSO HOSPITALIZED FOR A WHILE FOR SOMETHING OR OTHER in her childhood?? And they met/became friends? And they're both artists, even though Ione's art is cute and wholesome and Violet's is threatening and bizarre?

OH! THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN INTERESTING IDEA! Does Violet have innate talent in art or had interest in it early on? Because I would love to have her inspire Ione to get into art and bonded over it before she gets adopted.

Ahh that would be so cute!! Yeah, Violet has been interested in art/making things since she was quite young! It's kind of hard to say whether she had the kind of talent that other people would have taken notice of, just because the stuff she makes is so abstract and weird, but she does have a very intense clarity of vision. Even in the hospital she would have been using whatever materials were available to create little sculptures or patterns. And she would definitely have happily talked all about what she was making and why and all of her Art Emotions to anyone who didn't mind listening!

Oh no, this is cute! I already love Violet. I can imagine Ione would do everything in her power to help her get the supplies too. Maybe even use her illness to gain pity points to get neat stuff for Violet to use (which she hates to do, but does it just for Violet because she is a special case).

I am very game with this cute idea of having Violet inspire her to make her own art especially when it won't tire her out too much. It's a fun hobby to do before it became a passion once she gets adopted. Are you up in having them be pen pals or art buddies or just keeping in touch?
