AU WORKSHOP - SEPTEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. AU OCCUPATION: incoming senior in university. interactive media major (emphasis/interest in concept design). currently interning for some multimedia company idk. Previously a professional gamer in the esports scene, but dropped it cause it stopped being fun.
BLURB: Here U Are is a slice of life bl manhua with all the good stuff where opposites attract. Yu Yang helps a stoic/shy underclassmen Li Huan open up, become friends, and then fall in love. it's a love story -taylor swift

- Sun Jing is his baby sister... both parents lived in qingdao where he was born. they eventually move to recolle when he was 8 due to work. c/p greatness.
- Yang takes the brunt of first-time parenting, being the first-born son and the like. His relationship with his parents was rocky when he became a teenager because... Teen Years. He used to get into trouble to get their attention, but eventually grew out of it.
- Despite being a cheerful, bubbly brat, he has good grades! very promising.
- Unlike his sister, Yang would rather move on than stay stagnant. Sometimes it makes him tunnel-visioned on his own goals, forgetting to call his friends/family. It comes from the pressure of having to EXCEL especially because he's gay and won't be helping in the bio grandchildren department. He can at least be a good son and show all those haters that his family is BETTER THAN THEM.

- became a professional gamer from freshmen to sophomore year, going to competitions etc in different states. he stopped to focus on school (also because it was #toxic). his game handle is usually Yanyan. His smurf is BIGDADDY i'm going with this.

PERSONALITY
motherly, friendly, sassy, bubbly, intense... loud... and violent. petty. he's nice to everyone and makes friends easily, though tends to have a lot of girls that confide in him. also, he's a menace.

they can commiserate over paperwork, what the silliest incidents they had to write up reports for were, get each other energy drinks or coffee for the late night rounds they had to do

yes!! she was very spiteful and full of abandonment issues like she is now, but her spite fueled her goody two shoes image, as it does, and started her nagging young.... and got picked on for it because a small child nagging isn't very effective. she strived for perfect grades, too many extracurricular activities, things like that. she absolutely idolized her sisters but especially rose and jasmine up until their fighting made things a lot worse for them to be a cohesive family. she had some other breaking points. she ran away from her foster home for a couple days when she was 15 or so because she felt ~victimized~ over something stupid, and then she had a time partying a lot her freshman year as an undergrad.

What If they hated each other at first because while Yang has good grades, he isn't straight-laced, so sometimes he does stupid things just cause or the wrong things. maybe hanging out in the roof or skipping a class. WHATEVER!!! YES!! YOU CAN SKIP CLASS AND PLAY HOOKY IN MIDDLE SCHOOL DON'T @ ME. but then they shared a common target of pure contempt: one of clover's bullies. it'll probably be out of pity, but they can at least start there and just... work their way to being Real Friends.
