Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

Okay. Ever since I heard in last years panel on how the mangaka of my character's series and the Yona mangaka had a silly crossover idea that got rejected by the publishing company they are in and Yona's character was the inspiration for Ursula (Nike's not!girlfriend), I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED CR WITH A YONA! So thank you so much for considering her!!!

Right now, I have no idea how they'll get CR, but I am very open to the idea. Ava is a 20 year old tennis player that comes from a well off family who like to build connection with everyone and anyone famous or loaded or both. So maybe somehow Ava's mother made the first connection with her, has been funding her career, and somehow threw Ava her way to befriend and encourage in her career? How old do you think Yona began her career?

Oh, gosh. I've never read Nike's canon, but now I kind of feel like I should... I bet their CR will be adorable, so I"m excited!! Nike looks super cute!

I think that could work. I've been kind of running with the idea that Yona's been acting for a while (probably in commercials as a kid and minor roles as a preteen), but that she only started getting bigger roles within the last two/three years or so - the period drama she just finished filming is her first major starring role, though she'll definitely have acted in supporting roles or as a "rival" character for the star in the past, haha. I think that could work if Ava's mom would have seen the potential/could have been a part of why she got the starting role!

...that aside, Yona's going to want to learn sports while she's on vacation so maybe she'll badger Ava for tennis lessons, lmao

You should! It's a good series. Right now in the raws has a lot of GoT and JRPG stuff happening, with Ursula getting her own backstory and being one of the big baddies that Nike needs to save, not fight, because she ain't gonna beat up her not!girlfriend when her fiance did horrible, horrible, horrible things to her (shame on you Livius, you tiny Hitler).

That's perfect, actually! Ava's mom is kindly known as Dragon Mom because she was once a very famous stage mom with her oldest son who became an insanely big theater star in the US, but she lost custody of him while Ava had zero talent for acting and singing, so she was totally useless. I can imagine Dragon Mom would have an insanely good eye for talent and want to get back to show business and decided to work her way through Asia (cause Ava's dad is Japanese or Korean) and make a K-drama star into an international one just to prove she is awesome. Maybe she wants to begin her own international talent agency or something.

And Ava is more than willing to teach anyone tennis because she loves it! Maybe she could get Yona into her other interests like parkaor or aikido, if you want Yona to get her sword fighting regains early/at some point.

OH BOY. Punch livius in the face, Nike and/or Ursula!! I don't even know this man yet and I would already like to see him beaten down just from that description alone.

I'd be on board with running with that! Big sorry in advance to Dragon Mom, though; Yona's cute and not terrible at acting when she tries, but she's also prone to shenanigans, and I'm sure being in Rec is only going to make that even more prevalent. Especially when she starts regaining things.

Ooh, I'd like that too! Please teach her all sorts of neat things, Ava.

Nike would (and Ursula would gladly slice his throat open) but unfortunately he is as charming as Ciel and so the entire fandom wants to protect him even though he is basically Hitler and has done mass genocide. My happy ending will forever be Nike and Ursula die and get reincarnated in the modern AU where Nike becomes Ursula's prince charming because she is a yakuza princess. I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING!

If it helps Dragon Mom is still in NYC, so she would put Ava in charge of her, but Ava is basically lol me be responsible? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So Yona can get away with stuff and Ava will be all "publicity stunt!" label on it.

She will! Yona needs to learn to take care of her own back and rely on no man! She'll be a good big sister figure for her!

Oh, that's honestly perfect! Maybe Ava's mom arranges for Yona to stay with her while she's "on vacation," then, with the intention of convincing her to stay and work in the US? Unless Ava's living arrangements wouldn't allow for that, then Yona will just hole up in some luxury suite in a hotel or whatever for the first month...

Or she can do that anyway and invite Ava to come and stay!

How dare! Knowing Dragon Mom, she would have something prepared for Yona to live in. Right now, Ava is a college student living in the dorms of Recolle University, but I am more than happy to have her sleep over at Yona's place until she gets used to the area. Maybe even introduce her to Ava's roommate who is a complete sweetheart too
