AU WORKSHOP - MAY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC! FORM PLAYER'S NAME: CHARACTER'S NAME: CANON: AU NAME: If there's a name change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU AGE: Again, if there's an age change at all! If there isn't, you're free to put n/a AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc. BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant. AU AGE: 20 (slightly flexible)
AU OCCUPATION: Circus performer (lion tamer); student (university); part-time worker (cafe/tea house!)

☆ A first-string member of a circus based in (or near) Recolle (that does state-wide and, occasionally, global tours). Works with lions and all sorts of large cats!
☆ Has gone somewhat around the globe with his troupe, likes to travel on his own time.
☆ Dated Leo (
☆ Occasionally gets bored of circus work, so he takes breaks (much to his ringleader's chagrin) and that's when he works part-time at a cafe or (finally) attends classes.
☆ Has a weak immune system, he catches common sicknesses easily and can quickly grow fatigued, which he resents.
☆ He enjoys circus work because it's fantastic and fun, and cafe work because he likes meeting all sorts of customers- he even likes the nasty ones.
☆ Tends to involve himself with anyone who's caught his eye. If it doesn't work out, he'll just come back again later!
☆ Currently on break from the circus, so he's doing cafe work. But you'll probably recognize him from posters (or the show, if you've ever gone).

☆ Playful, pleasant, and fun. Carnivorous in seeking out things he might enjoy. Adventurously leisurely, like a cat. Always up for something reckless.
☆ Consumes all sorts of media; tries all sorts of hobbies; open to all experience (no matter how risky - don't knock it 'til you try it!)
☆ Extremely flighty! Always looking for something new; interesting; different! He leaves people, places, and things when he's bored of something he seeks new stimulation. He'll return to something old once he's been away from it for awhile, now that it's fresh and new again.
☆ Likes getting involved with people in any sense - beloved or reviled, he prefers any sort of company to none at all.
☆ Because he's constantly cycling through people and places, he has surprisingly little emotional intuition and understanding of the weight of things (like... money... he just wastes it...) - if something is too tedious or difficult, he just cycles out to something new, and says he'll figure it out later.
LOOKING FOR:
★ A family! Can be blood-related or adoptive. I'm flexible & willing to adapt to any family situation! A younger sibling would be fun, but isn't required.
★★ Wrt family plotting - he's probably been involved in the circus since he was young if he has the level of success in his work that he has now. He could have been rebellious or it could be something his family is okay with, or something else!
★ Friends, fans, acquaintances, exes! Eichi is super social and gets around!
★ Dorm-mate(s) in university perhaps!! You can use his bed when he's out traveling,
★ Someone to kick him back to bed when he's sick because he Will ignore it and go out to play then get sicker if left unchecked
★ Enablers he can kick around with or people who get on his case for his attitude/philosophy (it's hurt enough people)
★ If there's a cafe that other characters work at, I'd love if Eichi could work there as well and get to know his coworkers!

I hope it's not too awk for Klavier that his brother was dating his bandmate djfkdjfk What me and Peace chatted about so far (which is flex & can be changed up) is that Eichi was probably in Japan at the time Leo was because Eichi was on tour with the circus, which had come to Japan at that point. It's possible that Eichi and Klavier knew they were both in the area so they met up to hang out, and that's how Eichi and Leo were formally introduced?
More generally, it's possible that Klavier was an influence on how Eichi is now? (If niisan gets to join a band I get to join the circus,) Klavier is the only child achieving anything in this house between the two of them fjdkfj

I don't think it would be! Klavier trusts Leo and he's happy for his little brother; it's not like he can say anything negative about musicians, after all. That makes perfect sense to me--I had Klavier on a more traditional path at first but I guess it just sucks to be their parents, that their sons have such artistic souls. I'd love to have Klav have met Leo through Eichi, though, that's perfect.
I think achieving is probably overstating but he is going to be shades of his genius canon self, just working a lot harder for it. It'll make him worry a bit about Eichi and where his direction in life is but Klavier's kind of a hypocrite because since the band broke up he's been a little ??? himself. That being said, setting a better example for Eichi is a great reason for him to get his shit together, too...

Kiyoshi used to travel around a lot in America after he was kicked out of Japan by his dad before he settled in town so they could have met at some point and Kiyoshi could have helped him get the job or something

At best, he would help her remember her good
girlfriendfriend in canon who gets hospitalized often and keeps running around to do stupid shit when she should be resting to the point Suzu has to babysit her.... Or at worst, he reminds her of her own school's student council president who pretty much ruined the lives of her and herunrequited crushother certain best friend who ends up transferring to another certain nearby school to become a certain producer and has a meltdown.... that's fine too..... both???? happy stuff before making everything go to hell, the true ensembleverse way....In exchange maybe he could remember a certain Kansai kid who wants to punch him... Or maybe a certain glasses man since Suzu is the type to nag people who don't take care of their health and/or keep trying to do stupid shit....

I WOULD BE VERY HAPPY FOR EICHI TO HELP SUZU REGAIN THOSE MEMORIES!!! and those memories in exchange are certainly appreciated♡♡♡ Classmate and coworker sounds good to me, Eichi can introduce her to whatever job he's taken up at the time (rn it's the chabana tea house) if she's ever need of one when they chat!
Since Suzu is quiet, Eichi might also try to help her get out of her shell? Not very tactfully, but he'd probably consider them friends after just chatting a bit and he'd totally love to drag her around places so she can ~experience life~
