AU WORKSHOP - MAY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World Changes FAQ Game Calendar Plot Finds (ooc knowledge) • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. BLURB:
- Born in a small town of about 50 people outside Winnipeg that your character cannot possibly have heard of.
- Grew up playing ice hockey, and was a star forward at the Junior level. Her propensity for fights earned her the nickname "Lightningrod," and she still holds at least one league record for penalty minutes.
- Her athletic career was cut short at 19 by a ruptured Achilles tendon; she still walks with a slight limp.
- Received her bachelor's in education from the University of Winnipeg, before relocating to Recolle to get a fresh start.
- Will start teaching full-time with the coming school year, but will have been working as a substitute throughout the past year.
- Certainly tries to be the Cool Teacher. Jury's still out on her success in that department.
- Very much a friendly drunk.
- Never talks about her past, mostly just to seem more mysterious than she is.
- Natural blonde, but 100% absolutely dyes it her canon hair color.
- For all her quirks, she's smarter than she looks, and pretty good at what she does.
- Incredibly slow to anger, but holds grudges like no one's business. You don't even want to be friends with someone who manages to get on her bad side.

LOOKING FOR:

- Students, naturally! Anyone at Recolle High who might have one of her classes at some point. Other faculty welcome here too, of course.
- Anyone with a stick up their ass that she can amuse herself by teasing mercilessly.
- Anyone who hangs out in some random local dive bar has probably seen her make a fool of herself in public at least once, especially if the bar has karaoke night.
- Past romantic partners are mostly unlikely, but she's been in town for about a year by now, so nothing's non-negotiable.

- Prolific Viner throughout college. Has probably been a minor meme at some point, and still shows up in Vine comps. Probably started dying her hair to be less recognizable.

hello, most likely will be a student in one of your classes(Al is behind a year in school), dealing with PTSD and a stealing habit (looks innocent) mabye a cool teacher might be able to rope something deeper out of him other then "You never know" out of him :p

I can definitely see her being the type to get in-depth work in with Troubled Students With Potential, so this definitely seems like the sort of thing that could work! There's also a chance that he's reached into his pocket at some point for something he's stolen and found a post-it note that just said "A for effort" on it. She's that kind of teacher.

that actually would be awesome, I think that would at least make Al actually pay attention when she starts to lecture him about stealing(unlike some other ppl who have tried)

Preexisting CR or not, I think A2 / Anna here might get along well with Sara. Anna hangs out in crappy bars and gets drunk as a totally healthy way to cope with a bunch of bad emotions, especially over the course of the past year, most of which wasn't spent on the app. She's also got a history of starting fights when she was younger and might have stuff in common about having to suddenly reroute her life plans? (Even if they don't actually talk about it; Anna'd much rather have a drinking buddy than somebody to talk about the past with.)

Elliot has a cousin (whose an NPC now) who runs a bar in Recolle. So maybe he's either seen her make a fool of herself when he's stopped by to visit his cousin, or has heard Stories of That Customer?

To be completely frank with you, hell yes. What's bar hopping without friends tagging along? I'm gonna have to seriously binge BSD to know what kind of friend, but I was gonna do that anyway, so it all works out!

I want you to know that I was starting to waver on whether I could handle a full time game, and then I got a notif in my inbox from a Nachetanya account, and immediately started hammering out the app. And now I'm going to spend the next four months figuring out how to AU Adlet. You did this to me.

I've gone with the names used in the DVD/bluray subtitles for pretty much everything tbh. The only ones I've selected different stuff for is more obscure things like the names of certain locations in the Wailing Demon Territory (though that name in itself is more the DVD/bluray subtitles, the Yen Pres novel translation uses "Howling Vilelands") or like Nachetanya's family member's names where I've usually had to pick between the official novel translation, the fan one, or a compromise of them.

.... I MEAN WE CAN JUST AGREE ON WHATEVER TBH that's just nerd shit
