Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here.

• Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM.
• For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Your reserve will not be accepted until you supply the requested AC!

AU OCCUPATION: Feel free to list if your character is a student (elementary/middle/high school/college), if they own their own business, if they freelance, if they have a stable job, etc.
BLURB: Here you should write what you have for your AU; you can list your character's hobbies, who their friends and family are, if they have any particular quirks or interesting pieces of their history, if they're from a wealthy family or if they're struggling to get by, anything you feel is relevant.
LOOKING FOR: Are you looking for family members or friends or enemies for your character to be pre-planned? Or are you asking for ideas or feedback on your AU idea? Anything goes, just specify what you would like.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: Are you torn between which character to app? Let us help! Post your ideas in a comment and let fellow players offer feedback and CR ideas. You can also use this section to ask for canonmates you would like to see in-game whether it be in your specific AU or for different CR.

Soooo, just throwing it out there, but Eleanor has a spot in her npc family for a bratty little sister.

They're a fairly rich but not excessively so family, so plenty of room for brattiness and being spoiled.

Edit: OH and they lived in England years ago (until Lily would have been three or four?) if you need that as part of your backstory/want her to have an accent, haha.

Right? I thought so too! So the general timeline I have is they were in England for three years or so, which means she could've been born in the states, lived in england till she was four, if that...makes sense.

I've been pretty vague about the specifics of her sisters in case someone came along to play one of them, so we can pretty much force any important details in there, haha. Mom's a big high-powered business executive, dad is a weirdo writer/journalist. They have money and a dog named Grace.

lol Like how many siblings? I'm trying to make sure she isn't in too big of a family because that is super close to canon then!

Hmm...like I know i was saying she was cousins to one character so that could work too. Then like I guess what home life is like?

Oh cool, who?

Home life is pretty nice! They are, by all accounts, a fairly happy, ordinary family. (I did that to counter Eleanor's canon family life which is a horrifying dystopian hellscape). All the kids are/were a bit spoiled, pretty much want for nothing but not so badly as to be bad kids, that kinda thing.

Lots of room to fiddle with it.

That sounds really similar to what I was going for with Lily! In canon she was branded and throw into the woods from a big, poor family in a poor village so this match well to what i wanted~

Yeah. Eleanor is a bioshock character so her childhood was...ah...neglect, torture, body horror...what fun.

Here, they get happy lives!

And a cousin! Haha.

Oh hey and Lily would have the last name Lamb. L.L. is kinda cool for initials.
