AU WORKSHOP - JANUARY Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. Minato Arisato | Persona 3 FES
CHARACTER: Minato Arisato
CANON: Persona 3 FES
BLURB:
- In this AU Minato and Minako are siblings! The car accident which orphans both of them still happens, and it traumatizes Minato badly enough that he loses some of his memories and he more or less stops responding to anyone but his sister
- He was reluctant to move away at first knowing Minako is much less fine than she presents to it, only agreeing because he knows something isn't right with him
- For a time Minato's life is pretty humdrum. He watches a lot of TV, goes to the cinema and plays games...then in his second year of high school he becomes witness to some gruesome murders on his way back to the cinema and ends up in the witness protection program
- Being forced to cut contact with Minako along with the trauma of seeing people die (Again) causes him to react badly. One day he finally does get to locate Minako and sends a short note to her, albeit without a return address
- Minato ends up leaving his relatives while still being under the witness protection program once he finds out Minako's moved to Recolle, enrolling himself as his assumed name, Makoto Yuki
- He works part-time as a barista to make ends meet and does some art. While the technique is there one might wonder why a high school student consistently paints such dark imagery...
- In this AU he's even more sullen than before, speaking only when spoken to and content to be in his dream world
- Is not so secretly keeping watch on Minako to make sure she's alright
- Goes by the handle 'Death' online. Minato's surprisingly more expressive here, though this can be attributed to his constant e-mailing with his sister to the point that he copies her expressions (Think emojis, only inappropriately used because he can't into them)
- Perceptive like his canon counterpart, though mostly because he ended up having to look for shady looking people.
LOOKING FOR: Friends! Like his canon counterpart Minato takes time getting used to people, but he'll be very protective and caring towards someone who cares for him in return. Co-workers could be fun too, as would roommates!
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I've got nothing, this AU is the entire enabling in itself.
