BLURB:

• Dave Strider is a 17-year-old kid who has lived in Recollé since he was 8, after moving with his family from Texas! He still has some of the accent, shh.
• Family so far for-sure includes older sister Roxy Lalonde Strider, who is in college and with whom Dave is very close. Anyone who knows him will very likely know her by proxy! He might also have two other siblings who knows. Either way he is the youngest in his family set and is fine with it.
• His closeness with his old sister has manifested in a bleed of some hobbies; he likes fantasy novels and prefers cats, for example, and knows a bit more about computers than he would otherwise although his tried and true method for needing anything super technical done is "roxy can you do a thing". IT WORKS???
• There are also parents who are super nice and ordinary and shit, and who totally exist. Dad does something computer-y, mom is a pianist.
• He does dance as a main activity kind of thing; he started up when he was a kid and got enrolled alongside his sister in tap. He's currently in tap and ballet but he likes other styles. It's a thing to do and he doesn't really hide it but isn't super intense about talking about it, either. Conversations with Dave tend to be about the inane more than what he does in his spare time.
• His other hobbies are music (thanks mom) and social media and amateur photography. He's pretty easygoing about things and will give most things one go or just tag along with friends, though.
• He's technically not an official member of any clubs at school but will show up to them off and on. He likes the science club for experiments, for example, so if they ever do anything Cool he's likely to just appear. If anything he'd be into some kind of school broadcasting thing but no one should let him read announcements of any kind, so.
• He's a decent student who turns in his work on time and doesn't skip classes. He sometimes falls asleep in classes, though. Also, his notes are absolute crap and no one should ever ask to copy them twice; Dave tends to just kind of note down anecdotes and weird trains of thought and he doodles a lot. Sometimes there are raps in the margins? Most of his "decent" notes come from copying them from friends after the fact. That said he likes science stuff and is actually really good at math. He is less good at English sometimes as he is accidentally too casual in English essays or leaves notes to himself about "fix this later" or "in 19whenever the fuck" and forgets to edit them, and Dave's grasp on metaphors is. Special. Sorry teachers.
• He also likes dead stuff, dinosaurs are Cool and so is archaeology?
• Personality-wise Dave's fairly calm and easygoing with an eclectic mix of interests and an inability to carry on a conversation in a straight line. Thanks to the joys of a stable family and home life with a lot of actual love and support he's less insecure and doesn't really care so much about being Cool and doesn't have any combat training whatsoever. His parents were more about like, dance and music lessons?
• His sense of humor, however, canonically transcends universal resets. SBAHJ exists in his heart, and probably also on his blog. I'm sorry.
• Friend-wise so far he's for sure best friends with the reincarnated Jade Harley because I refuse to not believe in Beta friendships transcending time and space (app john and rose).

LOOKING FOR: While my family stuff is pretty set in terms of Dave has Siblings and they are Roxy and nebulously maybe other people maybe, I'm more than happy to work out all sorts of other cr and Megan and I are always open to working in other kinds of family connections or at least talking about them! As to friends, Dave is easygoing and would absolutely like friends so hit me up for sure about them??? Or anything else!
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: I'm not remotely torn about my initial application (though I have had the advantage of Knowing About The Game, so) but!! I am absolutely willing to work out all kinds of CR! Crosscanon or otherwise, though I do not anticipate a lot of the non-crosscanon kind (but if you play Rose Lalonde hit me up wtf I'd do insane things for a Rose?? Join the Strilonde sibling stravaganza?).

Sei's 18 and I haven't decided yet if I want her to be a senior in highschool or a freshman in college BUT they're close enough in age for classmate/former classmate shenanigans I think!

These two look to be in the same age group, so they could be aware of or know each other from school? Rachel is gonna be pretty introverted to start with, but some background familiarity could be good to build CR.

Nebulously, is it? Why, Mr. Strider, I'm almost hurt and wounded, maligned and impinged even, that I might be considered something nebulous rather than chiseled in the stone of your collected subconscious.

(Nothing even remotely close to a promise. I finally decided to give this game a closer look very recently and am teasing the idea of a Rose app around. But the thought of a happy, sane, non-ooze fabricated family [especially if it's an absolute re-incarnated lie and shenanigans] does have a certain deliciously appropriate appeal, does it not?)

If you do want to talk about it ever, lmk!! Dirk + Roxy Strider are 20yo twins and I would be down for Rose being slotted in as Dave's twin or another aged sister - the dirk / roxy / dave apps are all Set because lmao two of us planned the game and the other one CAVED HARD but obviously family wouldn't even be required dave would just love any version of rose lalonde tbh. (The jade is also set so there's that if you do give it another look!) i do have a tdm comment up if you want to throw something around?
