Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. CHARACTER: Rikka Hishikawa, with her in-game name being Rachel Hishimura

BLURB:

In her home canon, Rikka is a middle schooler. Here, she's aged up to being 17 and in highschool.

In canon, Rikka is a somewhat insecure, intelligent girl whose parents were often busy; with her father abroad and her mother being a doctor. Despite this, they were still close. On top of that, Rikka had a really meaningful friendship with the lead character of her series, who was important to her in multiple ways. Rachel... is a bit different in most of these regards. Her parents being divorced, her mother is a teacher rather than a doctor, and her father isn't as much a part of her life anymore. She didn't have as meaningful a friendship, so where Rikka was at times insecure but had people to rely on, Rachel is a fair bit more cynical and keeps people at arms length. Basically, this is in the realm of what her canon self if certain important relationships were different or not present.

Both her parents are Japanese-American. Rachel grew up in Recollé.

However, just like Rikka, she's just as curious and interested in attaining knowledge, so once this whole business with past life memories starts, she'll want to learn more.

The above stuff doesn't mean she's antisocial, of course. She's involved in school activities. It'd be likely for classmates to know or recognize her, but she spends most of her free time on her own pursuits. That'll likely change once she's motivated to start seeking answers. All in all, she's just more of an introvert.

Her interests include SCIENCE!!!, medicine, and... well, let's be honest. Both she and her canon self are nerds. As a parallel to a particular interest Rikka had (she was super into karuta), Rachel is also into various trading card games. She doesn't wear that interest on her sleeve, buuuut once you get her talking about it she'd probably get super eager to discuss things.

The fact that her past self, and her eventually, had the ability to assume the form of a magical girl who defies scientific explanation will be vexing to her. At least initially.
LOOKING FOR: Classmates, people who'd be interested in finding out the answers to mysteries!!! of things, anyone who just loves science, or anyone who can help bring her out of her shell would all be welcome.
