CANON: Mystic Messenger
BLURB:
- 28-year-old nature photographer
- Comes from a fairly well-off family of artists (his mother composes, his father paints), and understands that largely he owes his success to the opportunities afforded him; he uses the pseudonym "V" in his professional life to avoid some of that association
- Knocks elbows with other Rich Folks
- Quiet, polite, and reserved; he's well-intentioned and friendly but not open, and even close friends have a hard time discerning what he's thinking. He likes to keep secrets.
- Heavily involved in philanthropic and environmental work. He'll donate his photography to charity auctions so that the money goes to good causes, and he'll often pull on his wealthy or powerful contacts when he sees a need in the world.
- Holds dual citizenship in the U.S.A. and South Korea. He was born in Recollé, but he travels back and forth between the two countries often.
- Travels a lot in general, actually! He's always off to out-of-the-way places looking for sweet pics
- At first meeting, V is a mild-mannered, good-hearted man with a policy of smiling softly and not revealing much about himself. To those who have known him long enough, he can be an awful tease, but he wouldn't hurt a freaking fly if he could help it and he always puts others first.

I bet he knows the twins' parents. I feel like people hire girls way more often as babysitters, so what if V's sister used to bring the twins to the Kim house while she watched them? So he'd be familiar with them but was never necessarily all that close.

Yes! I saw your toplevel but then I had to run. If V is friends with John, he'd definitely know David, too, because V tries to acknowledge everybody in the room regardless of social status and whether or not they're busy working. He'd be as kind and understanding as he can. It's gotta be tough, man.

I have a couple ideas for ways these two could know each other pre-game, BUT it could also be fun if they don't and just end up talking on the network! I AM OKAY WITH THAT, I TRUST OUR CR WILL TAKE US WHERE IT WILL.

If you do want pre-game CR though:
- V's mom is a composer. I think she does classical, but, I don't know, there's a possible connection there
- If Honoka was previously interested in photography or animal rescue, V could have met her in one of her hobbies
- I DUNNO MAN THE WORLD IS OUR OYSTER

I'LL THINK ABOUT IT. I've got my hands full playing Dave myself in a couple other games, and Homestucks talk a LOT, so.

YES YOUNG MAN LET US BE PHOTOGRAPHY FRIENDS. They might only know each other online; I can see V leaving Dave comments on some any non-selfie works (if there are any such things) and talking shop about cameras and such.

hello... we actually had a thread together (i was yancat) but i got busy with thesis before i could tag more so now i'm just embarrassed.

ANYWAY AU Yuuko's dad is rich and also the sort of doctor that would have done volunteer work when he was younger, so maybe V knows Yuuko's dad from there. He probably brought his kids along too, so V might know Yuuko by extension?

But he also probably remembers Yuuko being purer. lmfao

V could totally know Yuuko by extension through her dad, that sounds just perfect. How old would Yuuko have been back then?

Luke doesn't exactly act like it, but he comes from a well-off family and part of why he took on ownership of his bar was to disassociate from his father and make a name for himself, more or less. I feel like even if they wouldn't be good friends or anything they would have at least chatted in the past at various charity auctions or just around the city and what-have-you.

Yeah that could totally work! Social media might work better; V uses, well, "V" as his photography name and would be hard to contact personally for that, so they could be casual internet buddies.

hello I saw that there was a V in the directory and got super excited so I had to run over here...I'd love to kickstart some form of CR. Grell's not an artist herself but she has a love of pretty much all forms of art and beauty in general...so it's totally possible that she'd be a fan of his photography!
