she and dave made up this secret club that isn't a thing yet but i want it to be a thing so it's secret club recruitment time. mafuyu gets him a slip of notebook paper w/ a room number to an empty room in the high school basement and the rules as follows:
1. must bring food to every meeting 2. must never reveal the secret club to outsiders without full club permission 3. if you break the rules i break your hand 4. must give out the password before entering the club room every time 5. membership dues can be in the form of halloween candy or old exam papers 6. members are required to participate in a mandatory theme song 7. group pictures every month!! and if you dont show up at least two days then im cutting your face out 8. never talk about the secret school basement club 9. never talk about school 10. but if you need math help dave will be around 11. help me with math. do you know how to factor? 11.i. yep. i do math tutoring and i can do you for free if you want 11.ii. heck yeah ill bring math hw and candy necklaces and pretzel sticks and everything!!! 12. must wear those candy necklaces to meetings 13. idk what else, 12s a good number. how many people do you think we can get? 14. pls join. also you gotta swallow this paper after you read it

oh my god, these rules...... i'm so happy she wants him to be part of this, she's such a good friend... of course he'll attend despite the fact 75% of these involve things he doesn't want to do. he doesn't actually think he gets a real say in the matter honestly
you just have to show up 2 days a month, it's a very lax club and i don't think even she remembers the rules, she had to go dredge it up from months old text messages
