AU WORKSHOP - NOVEMBER Welcome to Recollé's AU Workshop! On this post players new and old are encouraged to help one another make connections for their AU lives and to ask for or offer ideas if they so choose. Please respond to the post with the below form, and/or feel free to comment to anyone else to work things out! Please be aware that posting to this workshop does not guarantee you a reserve, and that multiple players are permitted to workshop the same character. Please find our mod questions comment here. IMPORTANT INFORMATION World changes FAQ • Please note: you need a reserve to apply, so please plan accordingly! Reservation dates can also be found on the game calendar and coincide with the TDM. • For current players who are interested in 2nd or 3rd characters, please review and follow our policy about AC! To reserve a 2nd character you must have a pass for the previous month's AC with your first character. For a 3rd character, you must have a pass for the previous two months' AC for both of your characters. In addition, we do ask that the AC for the current month be met and filled into your AC comment by the time of your reserve. It must be full AC. This means you must have 20 comments between at least 2 and at most 4 threads and one memory regain listed for the current month's AC period. Sorry for super late reply, thanksgiving week really caught up to me. Hope you had a good feast!

Anyway, great to know about his dreams being very well-known because Ava will definitely help him with sponsors for major tournaments or hook him up with any gear he may need too. Her mother has basically made a brand out of her, so she should have good connections in the sporting world.

Either way, I look forward to this CR. Ava will need all the trustworthy friends she can find because the whole regaining memories from a past life deal will freak her out once she stops blaming her lack of sleep or having intrusive daydreams as the cause.

Thanks for the response! Beast Boy's going to be about fifteen! I don't actually know much about aikido, I'm afraid, but that sounds great if she wants to be one of his mentors!

AU OCCUPATION: Either a radio DJ/host for a music station in Recolle, or something else, if y'all have other ideas.
BLURB:
-Currently, the idea I had was that he works for an alternative music station in Recolle, but I can change this if something else comes up.
-Originally from somewhere in Desert Fuck, California (not the real place name, I just DK)
-Raised by a single mother, father left the family when he was a kid and he has no real leads on the guy
-Had a fairly normal-ish childhood
-Is also an Eagle Scout
-Has a brother and a sister, possibly also at least one nibling
-Attended college in Recolle
-Mother died while he was in college; he stayed in Recolle after graduating due to a falling-out with his brother
-He's not that close to his sister, but the two are on good terms with each other
-Has casually dated a few guys in the past, but probably only had one or two serious relationships.
-Shares several hobbies and likes/dislikes with the original flavor Cecil, mostly in terms of taking up woodcarving and writing slash fanfic as a hobby, as well as a fondness for cars and old Western movies
LOOKING FOR: Friends, neighbors, coworkers. Possibly distant-ish relatives, but that's less urgent. Possibly ex- or future partners in the romantic sense? Even after he remembers Carlos, he's not going to be super inclined to seek him out, probably.
OPTIONAL ENABLE ME: This is a muse I haven't played in literal years and am just getting back into again, so...

I also want to put down some content warnings for gore, body horror, memory manipulation/brainwashing, cannibalism, war/apocalyptic bullshit, and probably a half dozen other things I'm forgetting but are pertinent to Cecil's memory regains.

Yeah, that would be great! Beast Boy is way into horror movies so he'd be happy to do whatever Xion wanted. How about something like... they used to meet at like Generic Genetics Company, Inc. for family holiday parties as kids or something and when they both started attending high school they began to hang out casually as acquaintances? And we can play them getting to know each other better from here!

HOW DID I MISS THIS, if you're still open to middle school friends Mao would absolutely have intervened and befriended him. He wouldn't care that he was weird--he probably wouldn't even notice--and he certainly would've stayed friend with him into high school. Mao's only a junior so he's a year behind but if that doesn't bother Izumi then it wouldn't bother Mao.

Honestly, Mao is just the friend type that Izumi needs, so I think this sounds like the cutest thing in the world. The age difference isn't a problem at all, but I was also considering making him a junior instead of a senior to begin with, so I could definitely make them the same age!
