Oh man, hello, I remember one of my characters trying to eat your Lovecraft at Empat. He would have loved to keep him, because who wouldn't want cthulhu as a pet.

Anyway, I have a guy who's a writer in canon called Koutarou, but here he's a uni teacher and painter and also friendly and easily concerned about others so he would probably keep an eye on Howard.

As for this guy he's a going to be working at a japanese style tea house that has sweets and stuff, and he's also friendly and nosy, so I would love cr between them. He also might have two cats (but also a dog) so there's that. Plus once he remembers actually living in Japanese Hell, a person being a squid man won't be the weirdest thing he's seen or heard of, it's totally normal, every-day stuff.
