Well, I have a couple for Sakura at least?

Strong by Sonna Rele, from Cinderella, yes. but it fits imo. I have it for some of her icon keywords. I just love the optimism of it, and it fits the magical girl thing so well while also incorporating/referencing the hero, in her case Syaoran, by the 'we are strong'.

Also Harbor by Vienna Teng. Because this is what she does. She reaches out to everyone, wanting to help them. (I am still waiting to see how this might or might not backfire with Clear Card arc yet. Depending on how dark that gets or if they keep the lighter tone of the original series intact.)

All the optimistic/upbeat stuff with her, yes, definitely. She keeps that even with the au, since I figure that is just way too essential a part of her to change or remove entirely somehow.

But ugh. Yes. She would and is still that naive, optimistic type to want to believe in happy endings.

It's true. Part of what draws and drew me to CCS in the first place was Sakura and her optimism in it, how lighter-hearted it is in comparison to other CLAMP works.

True. CCS is definitely one of CLAMPS happier works. They like to angst their readers way too much (Tsubasa, oh my gosh so many tears!!!). My other happy CLAMP fav is Man of 20 Faces. That one is even more cutesy happy.
