Omg yeeeees i love it. Elliot will deeply admire his passion!! If anything that's probably what made him talk to Eren in the first place. When Elliot's in a situation he doesn't feel comfortable in, he usually tries to befriend someone with the opposite attitude as him to try to get a handle on things. So with how openly confident and passionate Eren is, Elliot would be like WELP GUESS HE'S THE ONE I'M GONNA TRY TO TALK TO.

But god yes give him those talks. Elliot would be reluctant because he really doesn't want to let his family down completely -- but Eren at least probably helped encouraged him to push harder in working towards his goal of being a musician?? In return, Elliot probably would do what he could to look after Eren and actually tried harder to accomplish camp goals so he didn't hold his friend back.
