ABOUT: 24-year-old MBA student who is very, very, very rich. Because his dad is a Yakuza. Oops. He's lived in Recolle away from his family since he was 6 years old to protect him from kidnapping/assassination attempts in Japan. He has only had the app for two months, and one of those was spent worrying about whether friends would come back ok so he hasn't used it much so far. He's also a former High School Kendo champion and still practices, but not competitively. See app for more.
CURRENTLY: He and his best friend started dating recently and are remodeling their adjoining apartment to become one and they have money to throw at any home decor specialists/designers. Kenta is also looking for a new dojo where he can practice Kendo, and sparring partners, because he's 6'4" and can't easily find any.
WANTED CR: More students in his age range. Also, anyone with links/ties to the underworld, especially if they might have heard of his family who are big shots in Japan). ALSO MORE LAW ENFORCEMENT PEOPLE to make him uncomfortable even though he himself has never done anything illegal.
NOT INTERESTED IN: Romance because he is now dating Jirou.
OTHER: Kenta can be pretty clueless about how mundane things work/how normal people do certain things because he's been catered to his whole life. He also has an army of bodyguard/housekeeper people at his home should you ever be invited to come around.

I haven't yet read Iwai's stuff so not sure where they could meet?

He is the owner of an airsoft/paintball shop. But he hangs out at some bars from time to time. Mostly he's trying to be an average joe while trying to hide the fact that he's an illegal immigrant who fled Japan because he betrayed a bunch of crime lords in a major arms deal.

So not really walk I g in the same circles for now, hmmmm... because Kenta wouldn't go to a bar without Jirou probably and paintball... I'm not sure he knows paintball even exists.

Iwai wouldn't have any reason to be on campus.

Maybe chance encounter as Kenta is in his way to fly back with a few bodyguards who speak Japanese and use obvious Yakuza speak?

But that's a pretty good idea too. He might use his hat to duck his head to obscure his face. Because he knows that even though it was years ago he's a dead man for how badly he screwed a bunch of people over in Japan.

Kirishima's family has ties to the local mafia (adopted parents aren't really high in the rankings, but his uncle is a pretty 'popular' enforcer and trouble shooter within the organization and he has been training Kirishima a bit without dragging the kid in to the point of no return), maybe we can make something of this?

He's going to slide back to the heroic lawful-a little bit chaotic-good side of morals the more of his memories he'll get back, I'd love to build up some potential conflict situations for thatand our last thread was fun! (like loyalty to friends vs. heroic morals, or maybe him getting into a pinch as a mafia guy who is transitioning to the side of law-enforcement)

Kenta is pretty conflicted about being the heir himself, because he's never really lived Yakuza lifestyle or done anything illegal himself but he has family loyalty and he knows where all the money he gets comes from.

I would say the name Ooshima would probably be known to local gangs even though they don't operate in Recolle only in Japan, and Kenta is trying to stay low key to avoid kidnappings and assassinations. So he's prettybparanoid about his private life but more likely to be at ease among fellow Yakuza than with HIS BF'S COP FRRIENDS THANK YOU JIROU FOR HAVING SO MANY

That sounds good to me! Is it fair to assume Cutter saw his family name on his retrospec handle? He can try to be discreet and just privately ask him about it at some point.

Oh yes, definitely. This is actually one of Kenta's main reason for disliking the app, the fact that his real name is on display there. He's never used social media for safety reasons, and now he's got one with his real name attached and he is not happy.

Also, he definitely will try to get out of this by saying that Ooshima is a common name and he's not sure what you're talking about at first.
