ABOUT: Canonically, the World's Greatest Thief™ who used to be the World's Greatest Detective™, until she ended up getting bored with being at the top of her career track at age 18 and decided to try playing the other side of the chessboard for a change. Brilliant, a polyglot, competitive to a fault, always educational, usually flirtatious, and in constant need of taking it down about seventeen notches, which she naturally never does.

In Recolle she's essentially the same, except that rather than being a detective or a thief (yet), she spent her time as an insurance claims investigator until the point when she was injured on the job (spoilers: she got shot), and her former legal guardians basically made her take a leave of absence and come to Recolle to recuperate. "Recuperating" lasted all of about ten seconds, and now she's currently spending her time administrating the Sandiego Foundation, which focuses its efforts on supporting the arts, education, funding scholarships for students, and other general philanthropic endeavors that promote knowledge and an appreciation for geography and history.

FIVE WORDS: Charismatic, extroverted, brilliant, daring, competitive

CURRENTLY: She's about to remember the conversation that initially set her on the path toward becoming a thief, which is likely to give her a lot to ponder over. With school starting, she's also available to fund scholarships for people who may be in need of them, and otherwise there are a lot of little idle CR things I'd like to have her do, like taking up dance lessons and forging some connections in the community and just generally having more of a public presence.

WANTED CR: PEOPLE SHE CAN CONFIDE IN. Carmen is notoriously difficult to get to open up about her feelings because she tends to project such an aura of confidence and self-sufficiency, but I'd really like to net her some CR with people who can get past her exterior and give her the opportunity to talk about a lot of the things that are bothering her. I'd also love more adult friends, brilliant kids she can adopt, people she can flirt with — essentially, I'd like for her to get some CR going that builds up trust relationships so she'll actually talk about things when they're wrong, instead of tending to just pretend that she's fine.

I can offer up Gallagher to be confined in. He's, an actual functioning adult in Recolle who has dealt with his problems through healthy coping mechanisms. So he's a rare breed. And as Judge he has knowledge of getting past exteriors and is actually quite good at it, so... I think he would be a good confidant.

And also Carmen can just, drag him into stuff and watch him desperately try and keep up.

Well, Gallagher is a judge with over a decade of experience. Every single one of his family members is dead but, he's dealt with it enough that while it definitely still is a subject he doesn't like talking about and such he's not horribly dysfunctional. He's a very intelligent and conscientious person. Just, not very open when it comes to himself and trying new things.
