I don't remember if we ever talked about this on another meme but Mao's father was a cop who also got killed, and his was-a-pc-now-an-npc brother is still on the force, so chances are these two know one another at least in passing and possibly better than that. It's something I'd love to explore, especially now that Mao is on very high alert concerning Retrospec.

Yes, please! I'd love that. PCs reverting into NPCs is something that's seriously fascinating her and she wants to learn more about, and of course the "our dads were cops and died" is an angle there.

Same for Mao, it happened with his mom too and it wasn't a big deal until this last event but now he's very freaked out about it. He'd be happy to tell her about his experiences, even if they are pretty unsettling.
