ABOUT: In this AU, the former Captain of the Cavalry from Final Fantasy XIII is a Recollé police officer with a slightly grumpy and foul tempered disposition. He's twenty-four in this AU & has a penchant for danger. Rygdea goes by the name "Fynn Izunia" here and he happens to be Ardyn's troublesome little brother. He's gotten a few hints & clues about his former life and is slowly changing into the person he once was. Fynn's main concern lies upon both Recollé City itself and the Police Force.
FIVE WORDS: Sarcastic, grumpy, loyal, well-meaning, friendly
CURRENTLY: Fynn is pretty banged up after the latest event, so he's taking a brief vacation from the Force. He currently is hosting a party for both friends and colleagues at Ardyn's place, a small cookout. Fynn also been chatting with around with people to get their different perspectives and opinions about the Retrospec controversy.
WANTED CR: Searching for more meaningful CR in the terms of something more positive and less negative. He's undergoing some changes thanks to his memory regains. I'm also currently interested in more CR between him and his fellow colleagues. Also interested in getting into the romantic side of roleplay eventually.
NOT INTERESTED IN: Negative CR for now. Subject to change of course!

I'm still up for CR!! They don't move in the same circles at all, but Sorey's pretty outgoing, so he's cool with hanging out and doing whatever. He's still bartending part time at cabin 11 too if Fynn ever wants to slide in.

I'm all for having these two hangout! I think their conversation about classic movies was rather cute. Fynn certainly likes to barhop, so he definitely will run into Sorey again.

Fynn surprisingly knows quite a few people around Sorey's age or a little older who would like to visit "Cabin 11".

Most of which are either college folks or cops.

I actually think Kenta and Fynn should get to realize they're not really jerks at some point even if Fynn has no idea why Kenta is so damn unhappy to have him around.

Eventually they will! It's just that Fynn honestly doesn't have the best impression about Kenta right now but he's logical enough to realize they met under bad circumstances. That circumstance being that Jirou comes home injured and they have to rush him to a hospital.

Fynn is more or less just putting up with Kenta for Jirou's sake since he doesn't want to offend either of them. That's why he's pretty much holding his tongue in regards to some of Kenta's attitude towards him. When or if the truth comes to light about Kenta being yakuza, Fynn might just "Nope Out" of that issue and pretend like he didn't learn of anything.

Fynn would probably personally excuse himself from any investigations regarding whatever yakuza group Kenta is from. Conflicts of interest and all. Fynn is an honest cop but he's also the type to excuse himself from certain situations.

at least you're lucky, the Ooshima clan doesn't do business in Recolle. That's why they sent Kenta there for protection.

I'd be interested in him meeting my other guy too but I'm not sure how that would happen just yet.

WE ARE KEEPING THIS CR CAUSE IT'S TOO CUTE FOR WORDS! I've been hoping for the chance to play Fynn as less of a sarcastic moron and more like the idealistic nerd he really is. This fits the bill well.

Also, what does Iwai do for a living? Fynn has a habit of running into folks in Recolle.

Iwai runs an airsoft/paintball shop! All your gun and armor needs for the activities~ He's quite the expert in the field too.

Peter is a cop too, though a soft-spoken one who goes over his thoughts every thoroughly before saying them...which might put him opposite on scale to Fynn. I like putting him with as many different personalities as I can, so maybe they can come to each other during the cool off from the event.

Potemkin is a cop?! How come I'm just learning of this?! I feel so dumb!

Goodness, yes! Peter is the exact opposite of Fynn. Officer Izunia is quite hotheaded. He speaks before he thinks half of the time and that's what gets him in such trouble. I would personally love for these two to meet.

Potemkin was on hiatus mode until about a couple weeks ago (eheh....), so for most of the event not a very useful cop. It plays a little into his general feelings right now of wanting to help more people.

Yesssss I'm so happy that you're into the idea too. I mean it's the classic personality duo.

Oh, I understand! Well, September is going to be different for Officer Hoboken. He gets to hangout with Fynn now that the chaos has ended. Fynn will have more of a definite presence around the station. He's taking his job more seriously and is going to get the officers to mingle more in general.

I'm amused by all of this! These two really are polar opposites, even appearance wise. Fynn is like 5'10, short-tempered, loud, brash but well meaning.
