Sicne Kenta is a Yakuza heir, he's ahd toruble connecting with people because 1. Well he's here to avoid being kidnapped and/or killed and 2. He grew up without his parents and surrounded by adults that were trying to ingratiate themselves to him and suck up to his dad, so that has made him a bit paranoid of people's motive when they approach him.

However, while clueless, he's really a nice guy. If you show him how to do something he doesn't know, he'll try it and practice until he gets it right.

The only person who knows about it by now is his BFF/boyfriend Jirou, but since Jirou keeps BEFRIENDING COPS the cat is going to come out of the bag at some point.

Yeah, he was recently taught how to cut bell peppers, because Fai was cooking for him and he nicely offered to help before realizing he had no freaking idea of how to do it. So Fai taught him and that is now a thing he can do.
