Good because Ritsu is. RITSU. This sounds like it's a good setup for cute CR and I'm excited!

Because of manslaughter he's gonna be a reclusive sadsack bad at taking care of himself. 8( If you'd rather avoid such a sad first impression we can hold off until he's better! He does have his own friend who drags him around everywhere to do fun things and try to cheer him up aside from uh. Breaking stuff in abandoned/otherwise sketchy places! So I'm sure they'll be able to cross paths at the movie theatre, I could handwave it as the friend asking to check if there's any good movie on. Nice and casual compared to the other ominous stuff. :>

You mentioned Mako having some doubts but Potemkin's thing is unwavering, scarily strict devotion so that could be a fun contrast, haha. Also Peter was into sports during high school but never kept it up beyond basic fitness, so he could join in on barely-concealed fanboying about martial arts/bending.

Peter is a cop too, though a soft-spoken one who goes over his thoughts every thoroughly before saying them...which might put him opposite on scale to Fynn. I like putting him with as many different personalities as I can, so maybe they can come to each other during the cool off from the event.

Goodness, yes! Peter is the exact opposite of Fynn. Officer Izunia is quite hotheaded. He speaks before he thinks half of the time and that's what gets him in such trouble. I would personally love for these two to meet.

Potemkin was on hiatus mode until about a couple weeks ago (eheh....), so for most of the event not a very useful cop. It plays a little into his general feelings right now of wanting to help more people.

Oh, I understand! Well, September is going to be different for Officer Hoboken. He gets to hangout with Fynn now that the chaos has ended. Fynn will have more of a definite presence around the station. He's taking his job more seriously and is going to get the officers to mingle more in general.

I'm amused by all of this! These two really are polar opposites, even appearance wise. Fynn is like 5'10, short-tempered, loud, brash but well meaning.
