HONESTLY THIS IS PERFECT...her mom probably saw kouran and was like "yes...finally...a good daughter" and would've proceeded to smother and be overprotective. there can only be parenting extremes, balance is for suckers. the rest is fine too, she'll probably just be even more glad she bailed before yakuza shit went down
