PLAYER:

CHARACTER:
Velvet Crowe
CANON:
Tales of Berseria
AU NAME:
Violet Camden
AU AGE:
27
AU OCCUPATION: Restaurant co-owner and chef. Also an active seller in the city farmer's markets.
BLURB:
- Amiable and gregarious by default. Will strike up conversation when the other person looks receptive, and sometimes when they don't.
- Doting and protective of children and animals, to a fault. Has a habit of treating people more than a couple years younger than her like they're kids whether they actually are or not.
- Related to the above, generally a family-oriented person. Has a dog (name TBD) she nursed back to health after it was abandoned and is looking forward to having children of her own to gush over.
- While not a perfectionist, she does not trust other people to pull their weight. She's more than willing to chew out and take over for people that she thinks are shirking responsibility at the expense of herself or others. It makes being part of a democratically run business a tense job at times.
- Went to culinary school and opened up a restaurant with a few friends from her school days. From a business perspective it's essentially a co-op, where nobody has any particular sway in the business over the others.
- Owns a decently sized produce garden, and grows the majority of her food. Sells what she knows she won't use in the farmer's market for extra money, both as raw produce and by way of preparing snacks for the afternoon crowds.
- Never knew her mother; strangely, her father never elaborated on whether she died or simply left, though Violet asked more than once growing up. Her father was the stereotypical stoic patriarch - while he loved his daughter dearly, he was emotionally distant and left her wanting for emotional support. Consequently she strove to be the mother figure she always wanted but never had, volunteering to babysit for townsfolk as soon as she was old enough and acting as a confidant for her circle of friends.
- While not exceedingly wealthy, her father had a decent sized estate that, when he passed away, gave her the means to get through the culinary academy and start up her restaurant. The restaurant's successful enough that she's been able to earn a modest living on top of her market sales.
- Enjoys reading in her spare time. Naturally she enjoys the occasional guilty pleasure romance pulp, but has a soft spot for fantasy as well. One particular child she used to babysit turned her onto comics and graphic novels: she read and enjoyed every recommendation this kid gave her. She will never, ever admit this.
- Also enjoys playing music, and took up piano and some violin to fill most of her alone time. Oddly enough never thought to try teaching any of her babysitting gigs how to play.
- Has a fiancé who is finishing his graduate degree abroad. She's anxious for him to finish his studies and come back home so they can start a family together.
LOOKING FOR:
- Friends in general: shared interest in books, music, people to pry into why she knows so much about the Titanium Ronin despite claiming to have never read or watched anything featuring him. People she used to babysit.
- Co-owners for her restaurant.
- The fiancé/husband whose return she's so anxiously waiting for. The background as I've described can be adjusted as needed!
