• he's just an angry 16-year-old high school delinquent instead of a homicidal 3,000-year-old ancient egyptian spirit.

• despite being a clever and creative boy, he has been sent to detention for acting out in class for so long that he eventually just began to cut class altogether by his freshman year to save the teachers the trouble.

• he shoplifts to occupy time that would normally have been spent in class.

• he also becomes highly interested in the occult and joins the goth scene.

• similarly, he develops an interest in tabletop role-playing games due to their supernatural (and escapist) themes, which in turn expands into an interest in games in general.

• his behavior problems started with the deaths of his parents, a pair of egyptian immigrants who died in an apartment fire when he was five. (age not set in stone!!) this tragedy left him an orphan, an adjustment that he took especially hard as the son and somewhat spoiled only child of his parents. afterward, he ended up in the recolle orphanage, where he still lives to this day because he's such an antagonistic punkass.

LOOKING FOR: I'm honestly open to anything! However, mentor figures that he can continually disappoint, other orphanage residents (e.g., other orphans), classmates, and even goths for him to hang out with are especially welcome.
