hello yes I am on the newbie train but I must say I've been having a great time on this fun ride and everyone's been so nice and welcoming and down to plot, I love you guys already and I can't wait to hit everyone up slowly and get to play with everybody (tho tbh, just reading other people's threads has been a delight) keep rocking, recollé

hEHEH I'm so glad you think so, thank you! Yakuza is such a fun, weird canon, I can honestly say Kiryu has gone on dates with far less convincing drag queens (Majima, it was Majima) and played it totally straight so when I saw Jirou I was like oh man... I Must.

I've super enjoyed our thread and I'm excited to see where our CR goes! They're going to be great friends.

It has sadly not been translated yet so Kaz (and Majima) can't officially regain it yet, but with this game (it's a remake of 1) coming out in August in the West, it's only a matter of time...

To give this video a little more context, Hostess Bars are a long-standing staple of the Yakuza series and going on dates with hostesses is totally just a thing you can do. Going on a date with your rival in drag, however, is not. Usually.

GOOD!! play yakuza 0, the chicken is literally a selling point the context doesn't make any more sense, either. Long story short, Kiryu receives the chicken as a gift, names it Nugget, and hires it as a manager for his real estate business. I'm not even remotely joking.

ok but ACTUALLY I know Fang has some preexisting CR with Majima so I'm sure we'll cross paths eventually and it'll be great, I'm looking forward to it!

One day I'll tell people what the actual plot of Yakuza is but for now everyone must think it's a disco-dancing minigame simulator where you face off with Majima at every turn, which is honestly fine with me.

aaa thanks!! I'm having a ton of fun planning all of Kaz's CR and he and Yukine are so cute and important... I'm super pumped to see where they go with more regains!! We will defs plan more, it's been really fun so far. I'm also mostly canon-blind for Noragami (I saw like, the pilot?) but Yukine seems like a sweet pea and I'm having a lot of fun even just seeing his threads with Yato and other folks so definitely keep it up!!! You write him so well!

Aww, no problem! Hehe, yeah, he's kind of... an intimidating-looking guy so I totally get you, it's hard to be like "I promise my Known Criminal from a Known Criminal Canon is a sweet, pure boy" because who would buy that? How can you be in charge of a criminal organization and still be like this? (The answer: not well, tbh) I'm super looking forward to them becoming friends and maybe baking together and Fai possibly growing concerned as Kaz starts regaining Obvious Signs of being a badass but getting there is part of the fun! :D
