I hope you already have an idea of how much I adore playing with you honestly. You and Kira are literally the whole reasons I was excited for my household to get FFXV and play through the game. I absolutely love this stupid garbage man and it's literally All Your Fault and I Hope You Feel Bad
All of your tags have so much thought put into them--even when Ardyn's being an ass, he's still smart about it, and you have such a good handle on him. I read lines and now that I've played the game I can hear his inflections. I also love how you are always Up For Anything, whether that be silly "hey Dante's gonna drunk text Ardyn |D" or in-game D&D or THAT RP THREAD YOU LINKED EARLIER or Serious threads discussing life lessons or emotionally heavy threads. (I won't lie, there have been multiple times where I've wanted to tag you and had to sit back and tell myself "No, don't monopolize Jen's inbox Abi 8|" because I love our threads so much ugh)
I am so glad that on that very first AU workshop we agreed on these two knowing each other!! Their CR has gone so many places I didn't foresee and I love every moment of it.

SO. as you said: god bless the rp gods for bringing us together on bakerstreet. i am so incredibly thankful for what little CR we have — why? because it's SO good already. elizabeth and ardyn are one of those "elizabeth chooses the worst friends" categories but i love them. it offers a different dynamic than with jack, ardyn is actually refined and fairly intimidating. you've twisted his weird theatrics and mannerisms into a SOL portrayal that is spot on. one day i'll get through ff xv and play aranea against you, mock my words.
you've been nothing short of welcoming, inspiring when i'm feeling insecure, and engaged with newcomers to the game. you are AWESOME and i can't wait to see ardyn devolve into a douchebag.

ok real talk tho: I've seen your Ardyn around for a minute while I'd been poking around at the game (well and + at hadriel) and yours is so good?? he's such a hard character to get a handle on, in no small part because of the amount of information we get about him in canon but you do such a fantastic job of supplementing canon information with well thought out motivations and then add on top of that what you've done with him for the au and it's really great. I kept telling Jan that one of my recolle goals was to get cr with Ardyn so I was really delighted when you tagged me on the post and holy shit but it did not disappoint. I'm so glad for this cr already
