"I'm glad to hear it." To her credit, Alison's only reaction to his mention of hallucinations is raised eyebrows. She leans back again, stands up, dusts off her jeans.

"If you're sure you'll be okay." She's not entirely convinced...but he's a stranger, not a friend. She had no need to linger. "I gotta go. But take care of yourself."

And she can't help but add: "Maybe you'll give me less of a hard time the next time I need to return something."
