She nodded with a grin. "I did. There was a lovely gentleman who was bemoaning the fact that we had so few dark blossoms when I was planting for an event a few months ago. I received some permission to put a few plantings of dark-colored roses like these." She sounded particularly proud of it. "I haven't spoken to him since, but I would like to think he enjoys them."
