Hiro's a few years younger than Sora (15 in his AU) and he's in college, but I would love some avenue of them being friends? Hiro has a pet bird, he could have possibly run across Sora in one of his many adventures of rescuing and smuggling a new pet home or something. Alternatively depending he could possibly know Sora via some of his other friends (like Jade, since Jade's player already hit you actually ahaha.)
