AU OCCUPATION: Uh, various. He's not great at holding down a job because he has a very c'est la vie attitude towards life and sometimes just. Doesn't show up to work, because he'd rather be doing this other thing. Jobs he's held in the past: delivery driver, barista (which he would have actually been okay at if he wasn't so bad at actually showing up to work), bouncer. He may or may not be taking part in some of Majima's business ventures, which are for the moment totally above-board. tl;dr odd jobs, host club maybe.
BLURB:

• Mista is an 18 year old Italian-American kid. In this case, Italian-American means a much stronger loyalty to Italy than the U.S., since he grew up in Naples until he was 15.
  
• He moved to Recolle when he was 15, not entirely willingly, to escape manslaughter charges. He beat a man to death after witnessing him attacking a girl in a car, but because the man was a fairly prominent public official with nebulous mafia ties, his mother insisted that he go live with family overseas.
  
• Mista has a very love-hate relationship with the city. He loves some of the people, hates the place for not being home, and has a certain low-lying distrust of the Establishment, although not enough of it to motivate him to actually do anything about it.
  
• He is very Catholic. That is: he goes to church a lot and is a very spiritually aware person. On the other hand, he tends to pick and choose which parts of church doctrine he actually attends to, so maybe it's more correct to say he's the best Catholic he personally can be and sometimes feels bad about not being a better one.
  
• While his mother had high hopes for him finishing high school and heading to university in Recolle, it never panned out. He finished school with middling grades and immediately started a string of odd jobs, none lasting long; he tended to make an okay impression on managers and a great impression on coworkers, though, because he was always fun to work with. Maybe a little too fun. Do your job, Mista.
  
• When he's not at whatever job he's picked up this month, Mista is (tentatively) set to work at Majima's host club. He's actually really good at this. Because:
  
• While Mista is definitely the kind of guy to flirt wildly with anyone appropriate, he's actually a pretty decent dude with high standards for how he treats potential partners/women in general. He's admittedly very clumsy when he actually catches feelings and generally a flighty and unfocused person, but whatever exes he has probably ended the relationship amicably because he's a loser rather than an asshole.
  
• Mista has extremely strong feelings about film and television, especially romantic comedies and spaghetti westerns. While he's a vivacious and fun person to be around in general, he is passionate about film, and as such can also be found at the movies a fair amount of the time. Talk to him about Pretty Woman.
  
• Finally, while Mista is still quite strong in his faith and has an overall positive outlook about the world, he has been known to express a certain feeling of directionlessness, as though something significant is missing from his life. As a result, he tends to throw himself into things impulsively, spend impulsively, start relationships impulsively, and so on. Additionally, this makes him very superstitious about certain things, so while he's overall easygoing he can be jumpy about weird shit.

LOOKING FOR: Friends, found family, exes! If anyone wants to step in as Mista's distant relatives he moved to Recolle to live with, that's awesome too. While long-term negative relationships are a little harder to sustain with Mista, if anyone's likely to have offended his sense of justice I'm totally interested in that, too.
