➫ the two of them have moved into an apartment complex, having poured a lot of money into a small abandoned greenhouse within the city.

➫ kanji has been homeschooled most of his life and is not accustomed to strangers. he's awkward and very blunt, which can make him seem very mean. in truth, he is a very helpful, honest, and loyal person.

➫ kanji is a wannabe fashion designer. while attending school, he also interns at one of recolle's most prestigious clothing lines.
➫ rather than looking like a "scary punk," kanji will be intimidatingly fashionable (and stoic). he will be more reminiscent of how he looks in the persona 4 golden epilogue (does this count as a spoiler??), sans the scars. he dresses well and sharply and expensively at all times.
➫ he doesn't get to suggest many of his own designs as an intern, but kanji's private fashion designs are female-centric and very cute and summery, despite what his appearance would suggest.
➫ at his internship, kanji is sharp-tongued and honest and passionate about what he does. around people who aren't in the industry or interested in it, he's shy... which makes him seem cold.
➫ kanji is very studious, clean, and intense. despite taking on an internship and going to school, he's a good student.
➫ despite living a modern lifestyle, kanji's home is very rural, with the interior being as much of a replica of a traditional japanese home, to his mother's liking. kanji also likes/doesn't mind it.
➫ kanji, his mother, and his father moved to recolle from japan when kanji was in middle school. kanji's father works overseas and rarely visits. kanji's dad doesn't approve of his career choice.
➫ because his father sends money home, kanji's mother is a stay-at-home mom who would like to one day run a shop of her own. she has a few ideas of what kind of store she'd like to open.
➫ kanji pledged his support to his mother's shop no matter what she chooses to do with it, just like his mother supports his endeavors with fashion. yes he loves his mama.
➫ kanji hopes to start his own line one day!! his room is filled with filled notebooks, moleskines, and lots of fabric/scraps/projects that he's done on his own.
➫ if he does own a dog, it's a chihuahua named bruiser.
