I'm sitting here imagining Mafuyu getting tutoring and it's probably a two-part job of hunting her down after school once a week and then bringing out the textbooks... got to either beat her at an arcade game before she relents to studying or put her in a headlock smh

I made tentative plans for cousins on both her mom's and dad's side, and I saw that Makoto's going to be Kaz's cousin, so idk how much family to work into things but regardless, dad friend is very much YES! Mafuyu needs somebody who would check up on how she's doing and point her in the right direction once a week, aka turn her around 180 degrees, go back young lady...

Since Chiyo lived in Recollé for the majority of her life (if I'm remembering correctly), they could have been friends from when both of them were younger? back when Mafuyu was just... overly energetic with healthier outlets lmao, I'm just imagining their relationship to be like Chiyo and Seo's where Seo is a good friend but at the same time she's an absolute menace haha

Kiryu's going to be fairly young-ish like 21 or so but nothing's set in stone so if you wanted to make them half-siblings or cousins/related through his dad's side (Kiryu’s dad is in jail so being estranged from him would not be a stretch) that would be real cute... whatever works for you!

it's ok you don't have to be related by blood to have Kiryu dad-friend you, he will try to help every wayward child in recolle if I have my way...

Im actually adding in that he volunteers and helps high schoolers/grade schoolers in community outreach type things, so they could have met at some point, he's that tall guy who's a big naive pushover and tells kids to stay in school (what a nerd)

His orphanage was in Okinawa which has an American military base on it so OF COURSE the CIA tries to buy out the land that Kiryu's orphanage sits on so they can expand the base... Because of course they do.

BUDDIES... that's very doable! they both seem like pretty friendly, amicable people-- they could def have fun with each other from time to time, even if it's nothing as close as true friendship

playing against foils, in whatever respect, is my bread and butter... so yes, i'd love to explore that! (also heck yes; steinbeck would probably incorrectly believe that prompto hangs around richies just to mooch off of/use them... bc that's what he'd do)
