AU AGE: either mid-twenties or late thirties i don't know yet
AU OCCUPATION: Eccentric socialite.
BLURB:

○ As a Rich Person who lives generally by himself (or maybe with a daughter/sister if bella and i end up doing that) Ferid's very much someone who's into doing a lot with the free time he has... such as possibly running a florist shop, playing a number of instruments and specializing with the viola and piano, annoying neighbors, throwing parties, cross-dressing, etc etc.
○ His old-fashioned family isn't particularly fond of his eccentric nature, more reserved people than his fondness for flair would suggest, and he considers them bores in response.
○ Considered a prodigy when growing up due to picking up on things insanely quickly, the kind of person who might see things done once or twice and be able to do it impressively for a first timer, memorized books within a read or two and one-upped every tutor he was given.
○ ... As a result, he finds things boring a lot of the time and he's always looking for interesting pastimes and people to talk to. Tends to flatter them and dote on them too, but nothing further.
○ Another thing that came about through his apparent genius is that adults would constantly use him for this and that, he was always the shining star and didn't particularly make friends easy either as a result. Ferid's very much someone who's used to being alone and doesn't seem to mind it, though it's because of the previous bit that he's generally distrustful of others. Arms reach, everyone.
○ Because of his lack of friends and upbringing as basically a trophy child, Ferid's ultimately best at social graces and not actually... interacting with others on a deep level; he's also pretty shit at understanding and empathizing, politeness and dancing around it being ultimately preferable.
○ The fuck is the meaning of money.
○ Also would see what people would do for like, a hundred bucks. Drop a concrete block on your foot. Go out to a park wearing only lingerie (guys only, their reactions are hilarious). Things like that.
○ Fluent in English, Hungarian, Japanese, and proficient in others I haven't decided on.
○ Enjoys painting.
○ Very book smart, enjoys history and philosophy primarily. Pretty much has read a book on anything though.
○ He's got a lot of degrees in things that are ultimately useless to him because he just does higher education for funsies. Examples are drama, literature, forensic sciences, a focus in hematology, psychology, sociology, floral design... etc etc. He's had the time and money for it all, or he will have time and money for it all if I go the younger route.
○ May jokingly(?) refer to himself as a vampire due to history of insomnia and easily burned skin.

LOOKING FOR: People he can get along with, people he doesn't get along with, fellow richie riches, florist enthusiasts... stuff. Very distant family members he may/may not get along with would be nice too!! And neighbors to enjoy the company of too, yes.

Maybe after Roderic has been pulled out of his first home and needed to get check-ups? So when he was around eight-years-old. That'll be roughly around a year of knowing each other! Would have been so shy and quiet for the first few visits and hiding behind anything he could.

Yukine is more interested in photography, but he would definitely still be drawn (get it) to the art club. I'm sure he's probably a regular in both even if he's less skilled in art because he honestly just enjoys it. It's nice. . .

Right now, it looks like skateboard, hang around the coffee shop kashuu works at, cat-spotting (looking for cats & taking photos), and play video games. He's.... very average for now. He tends to stay out loud and get into trouble as well.

I figure he won't be a punk for too long!! Because, like you say, who wants to be like yato. Also i figure enough love will snap him out of his self-destructive funk anyway.

I was talking with someone a little ways up about the volunteer-to-read-with-cats day at the shelter if yuri would also be interested in that!! It'd be a great way to jumpstart their relationship.
