Tell me more about her family, if you have more back story for them that is. Is there any particular family member you'd most like to have apped?

she cleared it the first time through so she isn't really interested, but the ladder rewards are always welcome. qp is the good shit

anyway!! i have varying degrees of info on them, but i try to keep it as vague as possible in the event someone decides they'd like to join in and i can work with them instead of trying to shoehorn them into something too specific

so

as an example, i have 0 on her brothers. her relationship with them, how old they are, what they even do. couldn't say a thing

on the flipside, her mother is probably the most fleshed out right now. she was the typical high expectations, super controlling and Always Disappointed In Her type of mother...from wanting her to always rank as highly as possible in class, to which of the other kids to make friends with, even to how she was meant to dress, all centered around the fact that her social standing and how everyone in her upper class social circle thought of her meant more than anything to her. to have anything less than a perfect daughter to show off was unacceptable

nobu also skipped class with her then-girlfriend one day and when her mom found out she got super mad and fired nobu's psuedo-dad butler as a way of punishing her because she knew how close they were...so...not exactly the best person

but ive left all of her possible motivations for her behaviour blank so id be up for someone being like, hey, maybe she had her reasons or stuff was going on that made her act this way and maybe she isn't All Bad because I know few people would app in someone who's just this outright bad. plus im kind of a sucker for the idea of mother daughter reconcilliation

her dad has like...very little because the idea is he was super absent working to keep his game company successful. so he missed most important child events. no presence for her birthdays, not around for holidays. she'd tell people his twitter followers probably know him better than she does (kind of exaggerating but yeah...)

her stepsister post divorce, all ive really got is she was a fairly sweet and kind person to contrast with the fact nobu never got along with any of her blood relatives, and also someone she was fond enough of to kind of Straighten Up and Be Responsible about so she'd grow out the fact she was a shit little bully of a child. she's the major reason aki is this halfway point of "actually responsible and surprisingly caring" and "still a lil bastard"

she has a stepdad but also something ive Literally Never Thought about except he was also kinda rich, just not nearly on the level as her actual dad

and thats about it for family...tbh as far as family goes i'd want her mom > sister (my friend may be giving her a sister next app round...) >not!dad butler > dad > either of her brothers

as an aside her au gf was basically okita but i wouldnt actually ask any okita players to do that so

also as a final little fun fact, my entire basis for her family is based off of nobunaga's historical family situation. his mother didn't like him, his dad was absent constantly (because of war) and instead of losing his not!dad retainer to being fired, he killed himself and was like "NOBUNAGA-SAMA PLEASE, PLEASE STOP BEING SO WEIRD AND MAKE SOMETHING OF YOURSELF". oichi was also a cute sister and nobunaga loved her very much even if he made her husband's skull into a trophy
