She's been to France at least once, I'm thinking as a teen- there's family there, on her dad's side- and was forever bummed that said family wasn't in Paris. It's something of a goal of hers now to see the City of Lights- maybe even act in something there, if she can get her French up to par.

... She also has very fond memories of Disney World when she was a kid, but shh, don't tell anybody.

Has Bucky seen whatever the Recollé equivalent of the Avengers is? What did he think of it?

Eh. It was okay enough, if superheroes are your thing. Which they are not, for James. He finds superhero stories in general overly silly at best and insulting drivel at worst. Like, really now. Someone gets superpowers and the first thing they do is dress up in bright spandex and fight crime? Puh-lease. He's that kind of guy where the only superhero media he'd consider worthy is the really dark and edgy shit about how all superheroes are motivated by how traumatized and broken they are. He'd begrudgingly admit to liking Frank Miller's Batman stuff (or the Recolle equivalent), if you made him sit down and read it.

But Avengers? Nah. Too bright, too campy, too morally simplistic for him. He's too cultured for that baby stuff.

What was Arlene's favorite (and/or most common) after school activity?

She spent (and still does) lot of time either hanging out with friends around town at Flix/various coffee places/clubs (of the fake-ID-requiring sort and otherwise.) Doesn't actually care about sports, but during football season she and the girls would attend quite a few games because cute guys manhandling each other.
She also participated in gymnastics for a while, but didn't stick with it in high school (let's say it conflicted with theater)- that's there so I can tie it in somehow to the acrobatics she pulls in battle in canon.
