Was there an inciting incident behind Prompto's claustrophobia, or is it just one of those fucky brain things that happen for no reason?

it's just one of those fuckey brain things, no particular reason for it
he's a pretty nervous guy about Dangerous Things anyway, and besides cramped spaces makes him feel small and powerless a lot and so i guess that kinda thing played out a lot as a kid and rolled over into his teenage years/adulthood

something along the lines of this?! i just love the idea of prompto finding people to be openly vulnerable with. even though that's kind of a thing that sort of happens already? lmao i play such a variety of different dynamics that it kind of covers everything at this point... maybe the kind of cr where someone puts prompto on blast and calls him out (for whatever?), without falling for his sunshine smile and wanting to friend him in the end

1. appetite for destruction - guns n roses; sweet child of mine was one of the first songs he heard on the radio/tv that really got to him like WOUH!!! and axl rose was a super big inspiration for him fashion wise LMFAO IMAGINE THAT. his parents had the cd thrown somewhere in a shelf as it were and he listened to it so much on his cd player it probs glitched at times

2. echoes, silence, patience, & grace - foot fighters; THEIR SONGS MAKE HIM EMOTIONAL BUT ALSO PUMP HIM UP? especially from this album, he prefers to listen to this most when he's working on his photography and editing photos. besides foo fighters is like you can be chaotic but also A GOOD BEAN that's how he feels about them lmfao

3. nevermind - nirvana; i mean, obviously? this was what he would jam to growing up and as a teen these songs resonated a lot with him along with kurt cobain's general feelings about the world. he felt v sad when he committed suicide also, and he's kind of inspired to how something was so masterfully captured in an album? like it's a big classic for him.

long story short... as a kid he entered a photography contest, and found that people showed a lot of happy emotions about the photograph he had submitted? he didn't have friends at the time and he was having a very difficult family time back then, so the idea of making someone feel happy about something he made was unlike everything he had experienced so far (he was always blamed for being a mistake, for his parents' separation, for being on the way--)

so he thought, he can actually be something good for others?

that's why he loves photography and got into it. though he wants to become a pro photographer, he prefers making others happy with offering something he has a moderate amount of skill for
